Excise department (Narcotic Cell) on Thursday seized 12,240 capsules of banned Spasmo Proxyvon (SP) from one Rahul Mandal son of Ravi Mandal of Nagaon Assam at Khermahal, Dimapur.
Talking to Nagaland Post, Deputy Commissioner Excise (NC), Kevisetou Angami, said the accused has brought the consignment from Bokajan by train. He said the consignment was worth Rs. 25, 000 (street value).
The arrested person has been forwarded to judicial and booked under drug & cosmetic Act 1940, informed the DC Excise.
The Excise party was led by Assistant Inspector Excise (AIE), Tiameren along with head constable, Anglong and constable Mayang, Tokaho and Mary.
