
School of Music and Art, Purana Bazaar, Dimapur organized a concert under the theme ‘Autumn Show’ at the school’s premises on Sunday.
Students of different grades from the school under various disciplines performed during the concert.
During short sharing, entrepreneur Among Imchen said children should devote more time learning music.
She said at a time when technology has invaded every sphere of our lives, it would be more beneficial for kids to be engaged in acquiring knowledge in music than playing online games which is harmful for the kids.
Another speaker, Hutoi Yepthomi, Public Prosecutor Dimapur, while sharing his experiences as a lover of music said children these days were very fortunate since there were lots of music schools through which they could learn music.
He said in the past there were no music schools even if there were a lot of people wanting to learn music. He urged the students to give their time and try to expose themselves and also the parents to invest their time, energy and resources for the future of their children.
Speaking as a guest, Pheto Music Association MD, Kashito Kiba guided the students to streamline their talents and interests and work of it.
He also guided the music students to be joyful, humble and approachable.
Earlier welcome address was delivered by School of Music and Arts MD, Mhonyamo Kikon. Abemo Humtsoe did the benediction while Chichamo Humtsoe led the event.
