NBAK appreciates decision of 6 NNPGs

The Naga Business Association Kohima (NBAK) has expressed appreciation and welcomes the announcement of the 6 NNPGs that it would not levy tax on Naga business community, while also urging other Naga national groups to encourage and support the struggling Naga business community for progress and development of Naga society.
A press note by NBAK media cell also condemned the life attempt on proprietor of Kuda Cold Storage, L. Duolo on September 18 in Dimapur. 
NBAK stated that its members which comprises of only genuine Naga businessmen and entrepreneur look upon a person like Duolo as an inspiration and encouragement for any Naga in the field of business. It therefore stated that life attempt by the Naga outfit to such a person was highly questionable and had not place for development in the Naga society. NBAK further lamented that when Naga economic development was at stake, “our” own Naga threatening the life of Naga business community was the biggest loophole.
NBAK further stated that such incidents of threatening and extortion was one of the biggest loopholes where “we can never encourage each other to grow like any other civilized society”. NBAK has appealed the upright law enforcing agency to book the culprit and also provide safety to the Naga business community.
