Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) in collaboration with Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) and department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Nagaland would be organising training on “disaster preparedness, first aid and environment protection” for community level first responders from October 9 -14 at Khonoma village.
AYO has informed that the training would be imparted to community level youth who are usually the first responders in times of calamities. It said participants would later assist NSDMA as trainers in future trainings.
All participants have been directed to reach the training venue on October 8, latest by 2 p.m. and presidents of all the ranges (CYO, SAYO, NAYO and WAYO) have been requested to ensure the same.
