The Naga Christian Fellowship Chennai (NCFC) organised its annual praise and worship programme ‘Rejoice’ on October 15 at C.S.I. St. Matthias Church with the theme ‘We Speak Life’.
The programme began with a word of encouragement and prayer by the former Chief Secretary of Nagaland C.J.Ponraj, IAS (Retd).
During the programme the NCFC praise and worship team mesmerized the congregation with various contemporary songs and music.
Meanwhile, the special guest Agricultural Marketing and Agri Business Chennai, commissioner-S.J.Chiru, IAS, exhorted the gathering with his personal experiences and also urged the youths to stay focused on their goals despite all circumstances in life.
The word of God was shared by pastor Wapangtoshi who enlightened the congregation saying music always occupied a place of importance in the worship of God’s people.
Earlier, Naga Food Fest was organised at the church premises where people from all walks of life relished in the Naga dishes served with its authentic tastes. The programme ended with a closing prayer by Deputy Accountant General (Audit) Nagaland, Benjamin Karunakaran, IA&AS.
