Department of School Education, State Mission Authority: Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan has informed all schools (both government and private) to participate at the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar (SVP) event by registering online till October 31.
DoSE informed that Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar was instituted in the year 2016-17 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education & Literary to recognize, inspire and celebrate excellence in sanitation and hygiene practice in schools.
It informed that the explicit purpose of the awards was to honour schools that have undertaken significant steps towards fulfilling the mandate of the Swachh Vidyalaya Campaign.
Further, DoSE has informed that details of instructions and nominations can be accessed at http:/mhrd.gov.in—>Swachh Vidyalaya—>Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2017-18 or by downloading a mobile app, Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2017-18.
The mobile app can be downloaded from Google Play Store or Apple istore, informed DoSE.
The release further informed that the registration of schools would be done with the U-DISE code of the school and that all the nominations should be done through online only.
