Magnum Opus 2017 takes off

The annual Art and Music Festival ‘Magnum Opus 2017’ started today at the Stone Garden, NEZCC complex, Diphupar, Dimapur organized by Act of Kindness in collaboration with North East Zonal Cultural Centre.
The festival saw a variety of activities including Cosplay, Poetry workshop and exhibition, Art workshop and demonstration and acoustic live competition where nine upcoming and talented singers competed for the coveted title.
The judges for the competition were Tali Angh, Moa Subong and Yanger Yaden.
During the evening live concert artistes including Tali Angh, Polar Lights, Imtiakum, Mengu Suokhrie, Tokaholi Chishi.
Imsumanen was declared the winner of the original acoustic live performance and he recived audio and video recording contract by Richa Productions and a Bumhum sponsored by Abiogenesis.
In the cosplay competition Soso Aier was adjudged as the winners, she received Rs 4000, while the runner-up was bagged by Ponen, he received animation novels Manga.
Winners of the Poetry in the category (A) first prize was bagged by Okitoli Zhimomi, second prize Kevithuto Neikha.
In the category (B) the winner was Picto Awomi, while the runner-up was Mereninla Jamir.
Performers for the evening live concert tonight at 5 p.m. will include Oriental Theological Seminary choir, Kubanglung, Toshimoa, Muno Shiu, Brainstorm Island, Yellow Beacon, Ambush, Noise Mob.
The winners will receive their prizes 
and certificate at the venue today.
2:00 p.m.-Workshop (Photography, Courtesy Nikon India) & Art Demonstration.
3:30 p.m.-Cosplay (Competition)
4:00 p.m.-Declaration of Winners (Poetry & Singing)
5:00 p.m.- Dance & Concert
Photography and Art Exhibition and sale throughout the day.
