New black topping road inaugurated in Dimapur

Parliamentary secretary for Flood and Irrigation Control, H Tovihoto Ayemi on Monday inaugurated the lengthiest black topping road taken up the DMC at United North Block ‘B’ Dimapur. The road measuring 2466 Sqm and constructed at a total cost of Rs 25, 53, 900.
Lauding the DMC for metalling the road, Tovihoto said that the government was trying to meet community needs in different aspects and urged the people to extend their support and cooperation to various government authorities. He said that community needs would be given priority over individual needs. Therefore, he urged the public to exhibit unity amongst themselves for betterment of the society.
DMC administrator, Moa Sangtam gave credit to ex-administrator, H. Atokhe Aye for development of the road and thanked the public for their cooperation. He thanked the UNB ‘B’ colony for their support towards the DMC. Talking about the PIL filed by a certain colony regarding the issue of dumping site, Moa appealed all to work together and come to an understanding for the betterment of all.
Ex-administrator DMC lauded the incumbent Moa for successfully completing the road project and urged the public to lend strong support to him.
The programme was attended by GBs, colony council members and various public leaders.
