Organisations and invidivudals in seperate condoence messages have expressed grief over the demise of Bendangtoshi Longkumer, Managing Director, NIDC & OSD, Industries & Commerce, who passed way after a brief illness on November 7, 2017 in New Delhi.
MP (Lok Sabha): MP (Lok Sabha), Neiphiu Rio, has expressed shock at the demise of late Bendangtoshi Longkumer. In a condolence message, Rio described late Bendangtoshi as an efficient officer who served the government with sincerity and dedication. He had contributed immensely towards the people of the state by being an abled, friendly and humbled officer in his approach which won the admiration of those who came in contact with him during his career, read the condolence message.
Rio described late Bendangtoshi as an understanding and loving husband who indirectly sacrificed a lot for the people to enable his wife, Editor and proprietor of Nagaland Page, Monalisa Changkija, to actively work towards the betterment and development of the Fourth Estate in Nagaland.
At this hour of grief, Rio said him along with his family, extend heartfelt sympathies to all the members of the bereaved family and the media fraternity as we lost a loving friend who will be missed greatly. Rio further wished the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
Nuklutoshi: Adviser to Department of Food & Civil Supplies (F&CS), Nuklutoshi, has expressed shock on the sudden and untimely demise of late Bendangtoshi Longkumer. In a condolence message, Nuklutoshi described late Bendangtoshi Longkumer, the husband of Nagaland Page Editor, Monalisa Changkija, as a sincere, simple, straightforward and forward-looking man. Nuklutoshi along with his family has conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to Almighty Lord to grant strength at this hour of grief. He further prayed to Almighty Lord to grant peace to the departed soul.
Tovihoto: Parliamentary secretary Irrigation and Flood Control, Tovihoto Ayemi has expressed shock on the unfortunate demise. In a condolence message, Tovihoto described late Bendangtoshi as a strong yet humble person, always focused and determined in his duties. He was a leader and a mentor to many of his colleagues and all those around him, the message read. Tovihoto also said that late Bendangtoshi was a huge asset to the government and the vaccum created by him would be hard to fill.
ANIEF: All Nagaland Industrial Entrepreneur Federation (ANIEF) expressed its profound sorrow at the demise of Late Bendangtoshi Longkumer.
In a condolence message, ANIEF, president, Povotso Lohe and secretary, Shepongh W. Konyak, described late Bendangtoshi as an upright and dedicated officer of the government who held various capacities over the years. ANIEF said on his demise Nagas have lost a great soul and the vacuum created by his death shall be difficult to fill. The federation has conveyed its deepest condolence to all the near and dear ones of the bereaved family and prayed that may Almighty God grant them solace and strength to bear the loss and also prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
I&C: Officers and staffs of the department of industries and commerce has expressed shock and saddened at the sudden demise of late Bendangtoshi Longkumer. In a condolence message, director industries and commerce I. Bendangliba, said late Bendangtoshi’s presence in the administrative department was remarkable as he had acted as bridge between the department and the government. Through his effort, departmental work was made it easy access towards taking workable decisions at government level for implementation of department related schemes and projects of the concerned ministry, the condolence message read. The officers and staff further prayed that Almighty God would shower his grace and solace to the bereaved family members and that the departed soul would rest in eternal peace.
NI&CGOA: Nagaland Industries and Commerce Gazetted Officer’s Association (NI&CGOA) has conveyed its heartfelt condolence over the demise of its member, late Bendangtoshi Longkumer. In a condolence message, NI&CGOA president, T. Moawati Ao, said the fraternity fondly called late Bendangtoshi as “Sir Ben” and that his contribution to the department as well as the society was enormous. The association described late Bendangtoshi as a humble, cheerful disposition, energetic and down to earth person and that his dedicated works and deeds shall be imprinted in book of its department’s history.
By passing away of a towering and guiding personality, NI&CGOA said the association has lost immensely and that the void created shall be difficult to fill. The NIGOA prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
