Officials visit ICIT Mokokchung

Parliamentary secretary, Technical Education, N. Thomas Lotha paid a visit to Institute of Communication & Information Technology (ICIT) Mokokchung on November 9 and interacted with faculty and staff. 
A press release by ICIT Mokokchung principal, Er. David Tsela stated that Thomas exhorted the staff to be sincere in their place of posting and to give quality technical education to the stakeholders. He also stressed on preparing a proper roadmap towards achieving quality technical education using latest technology.  Thomas was impressed that there was no local issue or encroachment in the campus through the wisdom, guidance and support of the local people of Mokokchung who had embraced Christianity and education first among the Nagas, whereby the institute could set an example to other institutes of the state. 
Earlier, the principal welcomed the dignitaries and guests.  The parliamentary secretary was accompanied by  Er. Vipulhou Lhoungu (OSD) and Tiakaba Amer, project director of Technical Education, Kohima. The Officers of the Directorate also encouraged the members to be dedicated and sincere in their teaching fields and maintain professionalism in their jobs.
