ANTA Mokokchung, Wokha units celebrate ‘raising day’

All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Mokokchung unit and Wokha unit on separate programmes celebrated “raising day”, Saturday.
ANTA Mokokchung celebrated the day by visiting Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH), Mokokchung.
During the visit, ANTA Mokokchung unit president, Tally, explained the purpose of the “raising day”. The association also donated seven long bench and water filter.
IMDH medical superintendent acknowledged the efforts of the association and for the generous donation. 
Mokokchung Town Baptist Arogo (MTBA) Pastor Yanglu, said the dedicatory prayer. 
ANTA WOKHA UNIT: All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Wokha unit during its “annual picnic cum raising day” adopted several resolutions.
 Keeping in view the safety of passengers, the unit has resolved to stop carrying LPG cylinders in any taxi of Wokha district. The ANTA Wokha unit has also resolved to support the All Commercial Vehicle Association’s (ACVA) May 18, 2017 resolution of “one government one tax”. The unit has also resolved to ask passengers to carry limited luggage (around 20 kgs) in order to ensure safety of the passengers. 
During the picnic, ANTA Wokha unit, president, Hayithung Odyuo extended greetings and encouraged the members to keep up the good work in service of the public. He also appealed for support from the sub units.
Former president of the unit, Renbomo Humtsoe, senior driver Renphamo Tsanglao and former finance secretary, Yanbothung Jami also delivered short speeches.
ANTA Wokha unit, general secretary, Lipenthung Ovung and finance secretary, Bipenthung Shitiri, gave the annual report of the association; Renbomo Humtsoe invoked God’s blessings and Bipenthung Shitiri delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was led by N. Amos Humtsoe.
