Anganwadi centre inaugurated at Longkei village

Anganwadi centre constructed under convergence of MGNREGA & Social Welfare department during 2016-17 was inaugurated by project officer (PO) DRDA Mon, M. Temjen Longchar inaugurated at Longkei village on November 14.

During the inauguration, M. Temjen Longchar expressed his appreciation to the village authority for completion of the work on time and utilizing the allotted fund judiciously. VCC Longkei village also expressed his appreciation to the department for fulfilling the long felt need of the village.

The program was chaired by Monyao Konyak, while invocation prayer pronounced by pastor Longkei village. Short speeches were delivered by president Longkei Union Mon town, Tingnyam; BDO Mon block, T. Manhom Konyak and CDPO Mon block, Tongwang Konyak.
