Internationally acclaimed Naga pianist and performer, Nise Meruno, would take the centre stage during the, ‘Expressions-An Evening with Naga Artistes’, to be held on December 1, at De Oriental Grande, Kohima, from 5 p.m. onwards.
Renowned Naga artistes and groups including, Nagaland Chamber Choir, Asin Shürhozelie, Renbeni Odyuo, Mengu Suokhrie, Diethozo Thakhro, Thunglamo Ngullie and Petenei Tacü will also be part of the event.
Informing about the event to Nagaland Post, Nise said, “I am sure that whoever comes to the show will walk away beaming with pride after hearing the amazing music of our very own Nagas, grow in love and be ready to spread the Spirit of this Yuledite.” This is what the artistes would attempt to embrace and achieve during the event, Nise added.
The event is presented by the Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland. (Staff Reporter)
