A waiting shed at SDO (C) Jalukie office was inaugurated on October 17 by BDO Kiengau. Speaking at the function, Kiengau lauded Ngangbam Society Jalukie for the selfless services rendered to the police and urged the citizens to make best use of the same. Highlighting on its activities, Ngangbam Society secretary said that the society was aimed at working for welfare of the people as well as fighting social evils prevalent in society. Earlier, SDO (C) Jalukie, Lankonsen Tsanglao chaired the programme, pastor Lungsa Christian Church Jalukie pronounced the dedicatory prayer. Various members and staff of the society attended the inaugural progamme.
