In response to the appeal made by the State Cabinet, All Nagaland District Ministerial Service Association (ANDMSA) has temporarily called off its agitation with immediate effect. However, in a statement, the Association said the issue of phased-manner agitation would be decided based on the outcome of a negotiation scheduled on December 13.
Thanking CANSSEA office bearers for their timely intervention and conveying the grievances of the district ministerial employees to the government and all members of its 11 district units and volunteers for their sacrifice, ANDMSA also urged them to remain firm and united to respond to any situation, as and when call for.
The Association also thanked heads of departments, drawing and disbursing officers, treasuries, accounts and general public for their support and co-operation.
The statement further stated that a federal meeting of the Association was scheduled on December 12 at the Conference Hall of Changki Mentsu, Kohima at 11 am. All unit presidents and secretaries have been asked to attend the meeting positively.
The statement was signed by ANDMSA president Shilumenba Alinger, vice president Inato Sangtam and general secretary T Limhachan Kithan.
