NPRAAF seeks public support in the face of threats

December 10, 2017 | by admin

Nagaland Public Rights Awareness and Action Forum (NPRAAF) has solicited strong support and co-operation from the public, saying  the issue they were dealing with “is highly sensitive” and concerns several departments, and they had, in the past, received threats for taking up issues of corruption. In a press note, the forum affirmed that they would endeavour to bring the issues to their logical conclusion at all costs.
NPRAAF said the forum would be able to approach the investigating agency only during the first quarter of 2018 owing to colossal task of compiling corroborated material evidence. It added that they were collecting and meticulously preparing evidence to nail faulting departments and officials, serving and retired.
Meanwhile, NPRAAF appreciated the fact that, for about a week, some schools in Dimapur and Kohima had started distributing sweaters, socks and tiffin boxes. While appreciating the School Education department for implementing the project, they urged it to strictly adhere to the guidelines for the distribution of winter clothes.
