Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Election Officer (DEO), Phek, Shanavas C, has informed that the first level checking of EVMs and WPATs for forthcoming assembly elections would be held from December 20 to 23, 9 a.m. onwards at DC office Phek .
DEO has requested representatives of political parties to attend the process.
It has been informed that entry in the FLC hall shall be permitted only after verification of identity of representative for which ID cards will be issued earlier on December 20.
Wokha: DC and DEO, Wokha, Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon has informed that awareness and demonstration of EVM & VVPAT would be conducted in all the polling stations under Wokha starting from December 16 till January 2.
DEO informed that detail schedule for the said campaign has already being prepared. It has requested all RO, AROs and sector magistrate to strictly supervise and monitor for the smooth conduct of the awareness and demonstration of EVM & VVPAT in their polling stations.
