Sumi Martyr’s Day programme organised by Sumi Hoho (SH) was held at Martyr’s Park Sukhalu village, Zunheboto on December 28 in memory of martyrs who had laid down their lives during Mukalimi siege.
A press release by SH media affairs secretary stated that Sümi Hoho, Zunheboto Town GBs Association, STH, ZSTH, ZTYO, Sukhalu villagers and well wishers attended the service.
Nikuto, pastor Sukhalu Village Baptist Church pronounced invocation prayer, while Hekhushe Shikhu, president Sümi Hoho delivered speech on the significance of the day. The programme was chaired by Nikheto Jimomi genral secretary of Sümi Hoho.
Sümi Hoho has also extended its appreciation to the Ustomi Village Union Zunheboto for cleaning up the entire Sümi Martyr’s Park.
