Medziphema Union of Labour, Trade & Commerce (MULT&C) has informed that it would be initiating a registration drive for all the labourers and traders under Medziphema jurisdiction.
In a press release, MULT&C president has informed that the registration drive was being initiated at office of MULT&C near Medziphema post office from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m., every Friday and would continue till March 30, 2018. All concern has been asked to register. MULT&C has also cautioned that after the expiry of the registration period, no individuals would be allowed to work or do business within Medziphema jurisdiction without registering themselves.
It further informed that registration was also applicable to all migrant labourers/construction labourers etc. coming to Medziphema from outside. MULT&C has informed that the concerned contractor(s), who wish to bring in labourers from outside, would be responsible for registration of the labourers.
