Western Angami Public Organization (WAPO) organised “common platform” for the three intending candidates of 8th Western Angami A/C for the forthcoming general election at WAPO ground Sechü –Zubza on Monday.
In his address, NPF candidate, Kenizhakho Nakhro said NPF stood for Naga issue and identity and assured that he would work what was good for the society with suggestions from the constituency. He also stated that he would also work towards transfer posting protection, employment and progress in the administrative block as well.
NDPP candidate, Er. Kevisekho Kruse also shared his experiences in the government service and noted that the experiences motivated him to enter politics because serving in the service was not just enough but there is a dire need to change the policies. Kruse stated that his greatest priority was stability and development, to uplift the poor and enrich the economy.
In a brief speech, NPP candidate Asu Keyho stated that each voter was a chief agent and further shared the potential of developing western Angami areas into tourist hot spots as well as employment for youth. He urged the gathering to elect the right person to represent the constituency to the state assembly.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by president WAPO, Lhouphrevilie Rino, invocation by Catchist St. Maria Gorette, Sechü –Zubza Medolepra Lucas while vote of thanks was proposed by vice president WAPO Dzüviu Zhünyü.
