Kohima Battalion organized a motivational lecture at St Mary’s Cathedral School Kohima, on April 14, delivered by students and staff, who formed part of a National Integration Tour (NIT) to the golden triangle of Delhi, Jaipur, Agra.
According to PRO HQ IGAR (North), teachers Veliebeizo Dominic Solo, Novito Theyo and students from St Mary’s Cathedral School who went for the tour shared their experiences with their fellow students and teachers.
Vitsumong P. Tikhir from Pokphur village Kiphire also shared the experience of his first train journey and visit to Red Fort, Hawa Mahal and Taj Mahal.
The tour was conducted from March 4 to 15, wherein 20 students and two teachers hailing from various districts of Nagaland visited various locations in India beyond Nagaland.
They had the opportunity to interact with people of the Western states of India and increase awareness and understanding about their fellow countrymen.
A total of 15 teachers & 400 students attended the motivational lecture.
