Mkg, Wokha DCs inform on mass social work

In view of the Mass Social Work to be conducted on April 21, Mokokchung and Wokha DCs have issued directives and information for the public and village officials.
Wokha: As part of the state-wide cleanliness drive, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Wokha, Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon has informed all concerned that Wokha district will also conduct mass social work on April 21 starting at 7 a.m.
In an official notification, the DC issued an action plan for the mass social work that blocked drainages or culverts would be cleared using machineries provided by PWD (R&B), PWD (Mech) and Wokha Town Council wherein it informed colony chairmen to identify blockages and report them to respective in-charges. It also said that JCB will be provided by EE PWD (R&B) and one dumper truck by WTC from NST to main police point and other town roads. From main police point to Niropen along NH and other town roads, JCB will be provided by SDO PWD (Mech) and one dumper truck by WTC. Colony authorities have been requested to provide manpower while clearing the blockages. Each colony chairman should ensure cleaning of all streets or roads within their jurisdictions and participation from each household is a must.
All head of offices have been informed to conduct cleanliness drives in their offices and also whitewash their offices if possible. Schools and colleges have also been directed to conduct social work and provide volunteers for their respective colonies.
Further, DC has delegated the following officials as supervision in-charge: SDO (C), T. Lanusenla Longkumer-all government offices, schools, colleges, institutions; EAC, Vejoyo Swuro-NST, Suren, Lower and Upper MTC, CMHSS, Etsutchukha, Airfield and Orchid; EAC, Sukhalu Chishi- Tsumang A and B, GA, Chanka, Tchuyiro, Blue Hill, Midland, New Colony and Rachan; Imliakum Tzudir-PWD, Forest, GHSS, Zuvotong, Vungochu, Molonsu, Church, Niropen and Saron.
Overall in-charge has been assigned to ADC Wokha.
Meanwhile, DC has notified that action taken report along with photos (soft copies) be submitted to ADC Wokha for onward submission to government.
Mokokchung: DC, Mokokchung has informed that there will be a mass social work in and around Mokokchung town on April 21 which will including all government, semi-government offices starting from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. the social work will focus on six different places: Sewak gate, hospital area or parking lot, MMC shopping complex, police point, old town hall vegetable market and Salangtem new market. 
Staff of MMC and IMDH should participate at respective premises and the DC has directed MCCI to inform all shopkeepers to clear their respective areas around their shops. All ward chairmen and GBs has been assigned as in-charges and will be responsible for supervising the social work in their own wards. However, ward chairmen and GBs may set their time as per their conveniences. All head of offices will be responsible for cleaning up their own respective office premises wherein attendance record of all officers or staff will be maintained and submitted to the DC Mokokchung. ADC Mokokchung has been assigned as the overall in-charge for the social work.
