Assam Rifles Kiphire battalion along with policeon May 7 at A Vongtsuvong, under Kiphire district apprehended a NSCN (R) cadre with arms and ammunition. According to PRO, HQ IGAR (N), the individual has been identified as ‘lt’ Lensu (29) son of Nyingshu from Tikhir tribe, resident of Mutongre village. In this connection, the apprehended individual along with recovered items has been handed over to Pungro police station for further investigation.
