Bhandari Town Baptist Church (BTBC), Women Department held a one-day Seminar & Workshop with the theme, ‘Be a Godly Woman’ on May 5 at the Church premises. According to DIPR, Nyanchumi Kithan, women leader, Kohima Baptist Church, N. Lily Ngullie, APRO Bhandari, Dr. Atula Ao, (Dentist) CHC, Bhandari and Gladys Kikon were the resource persons for the event.
Later in the day a workshop on ‘cake baking’ and ‘dessert making’ was conducted by Gladys Kikon from Kohima, where she gave lessons and demonstrated the skills of baking and dessert making. She also encouraged the women to move out of their comfort zone and to try making a difference in life. During the day break, N. Lily Ngullie presented special numbers as part of a musical entertainment session.
The day’s programme which was attended by around 280 participants was chaired by Achumlo Mozhui, women leader of the Church.
