In view of the coming Lok Sabha by-election, BJP 17th Chizami Mandal held a meeting with the village unit office bearers and senior party workers on May 24, at SakrabaTown Hall.
According to a press release from general secretary Khrope Tsuhah, the persons who spoke at the meeting included Phek district BJP president, Nutsutso Ruho and ex-BJP candidate Kevechutso Doulo.
The release said that after thorough deliberations and discussions, the house resolved to: i) uphold the pre-poll alliance of NDPP & BJP in letter and in spirit; ii) strive and work cohesively for the betterment of the constituency and the party interest; iii) work united for the success of PDA candidate, Tokheho Yepthomi; iv) reaffirm its commitment to give unflinching support to the leadership of Kevechutso Doulo, ex-BJP candidate and state executive member, BJP Nagaland.
