In view of the upcoming World Environment Day (WED) to be observed on June 5, some organisations have convened mass social work, plantation drives etc. to mark the day.
OBASS Imphal, Nagaland chapter: Old Boys Association of Sainik School (OBASS) Imphal, Nagaland Chapter will be organising a plantation drive on June 5 in and around Dimapur District Hospital with commissioner of state taxes, Kesonyu Yhome, as special invitee. All “old boys” have been requested to report at the venue at 7 a.m. for the drive.
KLC: Kohima Law College (KLC) will be observing “World Environment Day” on June 4-5 at the College premises and Dzukou valley respectively. A book will be launched on June 4 while a social work drive will be conducted on the same day.
