The District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting & felicitation programme for HSLC/ HSSLC toppers was held at Phek DC’s conference hall on June 8 under the chairmanship of minister for Planning & Land Revenue & Chairman DPDB, Neiba Kronu. He called upon the members to give their best efforts for proper functioning of the government.
According to DIPR, MLA Yitachu also spoke on the occasion and said that double enrollment of electors poses a problem.
MLA ChotisuSazo congratulated the HSLC/HSSLC toppers and elected legislators and he called upon them to work harder for bright future. He encouraged the government schools to improve their achievements and urged government teachers to put in more efforts.
A short speech was delivered by DEO Phek, headmasters of concerned schools, parents and awardees. The government schools the schools that were awarded prizes along with citations were Shothalolu Dozo GHSS Chozuoba & Shebulu Dozo GHSS Phek.
A presentation was given by PHED department & Government Phek College. Transport & Industries department were told to present their activities in the next DPDB meeting.
