NDPP Dmu distributes umbrellas to students

Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Dimapur region distributed umbrellas to the students and staff of Government Primary School (GPS) Imkonglenden at the school premises on Tuesday.
Speaking at the distribution and tree plantation programme, NDPP Dimapur region, president, Kughato S. Aye urged the students to give priority in their studies by reminding them that there was no shortcut to success and with hard work they would be able to become successful in life. 
He reminded the teachers that they are backbone of the society, and therefore urged them to be sincere in their respective duties and dedicate their time and efforts in moulding the students towards bright future. 
Aye further pointed out that school does not only belong to the managing committee but belongs to all, and as such contribution from Churches, civil societies, etc. was needed in formulating the students’ future. 
He further assured to pay the admission fees for the entire students of GPS Imkonglenden for the next academic year 2019. 
Earlier, the programme chaired by NDPP Dimapur region secretary, Shiyeto Wotsa, began with an invocation by Mar Ao. 
A brief history of the school was presented by teacher in-charge, Aienla, while short speech was delivered by Imkonglenden colony council GB, Apok Longkumer and vote of thanks was said by school managing committee member, Panger Jamir. The programme was followed by tree plantation at the school premises.
