A graduation & parents meet was held at TRGU, Vocational Training Centre (VTC), Dimapur on July 14.
A press release by proprietor, TRGU VTC, Dimapur, Alienla Jamir stated that, Rev Katie Longkumer, spoke about the need to realize, and build, the inherent potential in each of the trainees. She encouraged the trainees to not think small and appreciated the TGRU Vocational Training Centre for giving such quality training to the youth.
A short speech of work experience was shared by Sukla Dey, fashion instructor under TVTC. Fashion Designing of Industrial Sewing Machine Operator (FDISMO) trainees presented songs and said the opening prayer. A number of trainees’ parents attended the function.Alienla Jamir, congratulated the successful candidates and she spoke about the courses offered to poorer women specially widows, drop-outs, housewives, and unemployed youth, providing basic skills to empower them to earn a livelihood through self employment.
