As part of the upcoming Tsungremmong Hornbill festival to be held from August 1 to 3 in Mokochung, the Mokokchung District Art & culture Council (MDACC) will be organizing a singing competition in the local dialect. A press release from MADCC stated that it would use this opportunity to give a platform to local artistes, especially those living in rural areas. The contest will be held under two categories i.e. traditional Ao lover’s song (Pair) and modern Ao tunes. Winners will receive attractive cash prizes and incentives.
