Relief concert for Kiphire

 A group of Naga musicians in Kohima and Indihut organized an open relief concert for Kiphire Wednesday outside the Oking hospital Kohima.

Unlike other concert event, the event was organized in such a way that any musicians can pick a guitar and jam in the streets of Kohima, sing and help raise funds for the citizens of Kiphire affected by natural disaster.

Interacting with media on behalf of the music artistes, Mele Pucho and Yanpvuo Kikon said the main relief concert will be held on September 16 at The Heritage, Old DC Bungalow.

The duo said that 8 musicians performed today and invited any musicians come and perform for humanity.  

Kiphire district has been reeling after massive landslide occurred since July 29 despite umpteen efforts to restore the road did not help much due to the incessant rainfall.
