The District Education Officer’s (DEO’s) office, Kohima bid farewell to joint director S.E & district education officer-&-district project coordinator, RMSA & SSA Kohima, Piholi Swunetho on September 28 at its offices.
A press release from, assistant district coordinator, DMA SSA Kohima Thongsenlo Kath stated that during the program, assistant DEO Kohima Kepelhouzo Terhüja spoke about the sincerity, dedicated service and duty that the retiring officer has contributed to the department in terms of quality education.
He also stated that the retiring officer was honest, responsible and active in fulfilling any assignment given by the higher ups, and she always displayed prompt action besides possessing a simple and God fearing personality.
District Coordinator RMSA Neivikhono Rutsa also delivered a short speech bidding goodbye to the retiring officer and wished her good health and a prosperous life ahead in all her future endeavours.
Piholi Swunetho, in her speech, shared from her 35 years of government service and spoke about her journey to joint director of school education. She also thanked God for the good times she had had and for retiring in good health.
The program was attended by area education officer Kohima, Neisiesa; assistant head master Relang, Joshua Newmai and all the officials from DEO, RMSA & SSA.
