
Government Polytechnic Kohima (GPK) organized Insignia 2018, its first ever technical festival on the 13th October 2018 at GPK campus. The one day festival was sponsored by BMG Informatics, K&K motors, Petros Dance Studio with Black Out Printers as the print partner, Seven Sound Studios as the sound partner and Tummy’s Delight as the caterer.
In both the gaming events of PUBG and Dota, St. Joseph’s College Jakhama bagged the first prize. Kohima Science College won the first prize in extempore while Government Polytechnic Kohima and Oriental College came second and third respectively.
Kohima Science College also bagged the first prize in quiz and photography events. In the event GPK’s Got Talent, Beat Generation was awarded the first prize. In the entertainment session, musician SeyievinuoChuzho, beat boxer MhalelhuoRutsa and DJ Seyie enthralled the audience with their power packed performances.
Government Polytechnic Kohima Students’ Union (GPKSU) thanked its principal Er. Keyiekhru Rhutso, Heads of Departments, the faculty and the staff of GPK, all the sponsors , judges and artistes for making this festival a reality.
