
Four-day annual technical festival, TechAura 2018 of Nagaland University (NU) School of Engineering & Technology (SET) commenced on Tuesday at its campus near Deputy Commissioner (DC) Court Junction, Dimapur.
A press release by NU-SET stated that special invitee, pro-vice chancellor, SASRD, Medziphema, Professor T. Lanusosang, advised the students to realise their potential and make best make best use of the opportunities that comes along in life.
He requested the students to set realistic goals that are achievable and contribute to the social, economic and moral development of the society.
NU-SET, dean, Professor S. K. Sharma, highlighted on how the school came into being.
He said the school started with eight faculties and 38 students but now has 36 faculties and 280 students.
He then termed TechAura as a platform to motivate the students to highlight their talents and urged the students use this platform to bring about a change in the society.
During the programme, the students showcased traditional attire of various states while special song was sung by Moangtemsu and group. TechAura will culminate on November 2.
