NBCC NMM ‘Mission Challenge’ begins

“Mission Challenge 2018”, a mission conference organized by the Nagaland Missions Movement (NMM), missions department of Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) began on November 9, under the theme “Therefore Go” at NBCC Convention Centre, Kohima.

A press release from NBCC stated that the three day conference will conclude on November 11. The opening dedication and declaration of the conference was done by president NBCC, Rev. Dr. Hukashe Zhimomi, which was followed by and ‘opening spotlight’ by Kohima Baptist Youth Fellowship. Praise and worship in the evening service was led by 4th NAP Baptist Church, Thizama. There was also a video presentation by different associations under NBCC.

The service was chaired by mission secretary YBBA, Khalenmew; secretary NMM, Rev. Andrew Semp, delivered the welcome speech; mission talk was presented by Rev. Zhabu Yimsung and Viliholi Yeptho, while the speaker for the evening service was general secretary NBCC, Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho. Other participants at the evening worship service were Sumi Baptist Church Kohima, Külovi Kajiri and mission director CBCC, Rev. Dr. Kowepe Kanuo.

The speakers and resources persons for the conference are Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, Rev. Dr. Pongsing, Rev. Dr. Atsi Dolie, Rev. Dr. L. Anjo Keikung, Kakheli Inato Jimomi, Nganga Iralu, Rev. Asinlo Khing, Rev. Dr. Wati Longkumer and Rev. P. Bonny Resu. Praise and worship teams for the conference are 4th NAP Baptist Church, Thizama and Union Baptist Church Kohima. The conference will include workshops on different topics, musical events, Church Response to Social Issues sessions, and worship services.
