Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) has sought co-operation and prayer support for the proposed rally December 12, in all the districts headquarters and two sub-divisions– Meluri and Tseminyu. In a press release, NGBF president, Sahleem Konyak, and general secretary, Shikuto Zalipu, asserted that the proposed rally was being organised to convey to the government of India that delaying and prolonging the political dialogue without any plausible reason would be considered a serious political error and lack of commitment. “NGBF, a hereditary guardians and custodians of Naga villages, expressed believes that government of India and Nagas must resolve the long pending political problem,” the signatories said. They maintained that the proposed rally would be a peaceful one by GBs and prominent civil society leaders.
