Power outage in Kma

Power department has informed public of Kohima town and adjoining areas that department was compelled to take shutdown at 132/33 KV sub-station Kohima from 5-8 am starting from December 14-19, 2018. In a press release, transmission division Kohima executive engineer said shutdown was being undertaken for routine maintenance as well as replacement of equipments in the 33KV system in an effort to ensure stable power supply during Christmas and New Year celebrations. It has requested responsible consumers to bear with the department for the inconvenience caused.
