All Nagaland Wet Ration Suppliers (ANWRS) has drawn the Nagaland Director General of Police’s (DGP’s) attention to the issue of payment for supply of wet rations to the NAP and IR Battalions.
A press release by H. Vikhugha Chophy, government contractor and order suppliers on behalf of ANWRS stated that ANWRS would not be in a position to continue supply of wet rations if they were not paid.
Since April 2018, the ration suppliers have not been paid, but due to the festive season and emotional sentiments it had completed supply for the month of December in spite of much hurdles and hardships, it said.
While stating that blockade of capital was causing the suppliers financial problems, the All Nagaland Wet Ration Suppliers called upon the competent authority to release payments at the earliest to continue supply.
