Officials of PWD (NH) Mokokchung, contractors and Mokokchung to Mariani road side Village Concern Forum, after thorough deliberations have adopted two-point resolutions pertaining to the condition of the road along NH 702 (D).
Firstly, the members resolved that rectifications of defects along NH 702 (D) should be completed by March 31, 2019.
It was also decided that the department will immediately take up restoration of sinking portion caused by natural calamity along the said road on 1.8 km (Mongsenbai Ward), 9.6-9.8 km (Mekuli Village), 19.00-19.25 km (Chungtia Village) and 48.5- 48.8 Km (Changki Village) based on the letter written by the Forum to the chief engineer PWD (NH) on October 29, 2018.
