KDYU fasting and prayer program in Pungro

The Kiphire Displaced Yimchungrü Union (KDYU) observed a ‘Fasting and Prayer’ program on Thursday at Shorih colony Pungro Town, in remembrance the February 7, 2016 incident where Yimchungers of Kiphire town were harassed and houses and properties worth crores were destroyed and burnt down by mobs.

The program was chaired by KDYU joint secretary, Tomukam, an invocation was offered by Keoshu, home evangelist PTBC. 

A short speech was delivered by KDYU president, C. Neoji. PTBC Church secretary, Lohomong led a special prayer and a vote of thanks was proposed by Shorih Colony Pungro Town chairman, Samuel. 

The union expressed gratitude and acknowledged every Kiphire displaced Yimchungü individual and family for cooperating and participating in the program.
