Load shedding in Dimapur today

To prevent power disruption during windy and rainy season, the power department has planned to carry out jungle clearing/cutting on February 9 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. within its jurisdiction. In a notice, the department has requested the council/community to ask residents/consumers to clear jungle/obstacles obstructing the feeders and LT distribution network in their respective surroundings. The department has also requested the public to help clear the jungle/obstacles. The department said its 11 KV feeders and LT distribution networks get severely affected by wind and rain hampering stable power supply.
