NCS probationers orientiated to Assam Rifles

As part of the ongoing probation of the 2017 batch of the Nagaland Civil Service, 15 probationers attended a one-week orientation program with Assam Rifles from February 7 to 14.
A press release by the PRO of HQ IGAR (N) stated that the probationers, during the orientation, were briefed on the organization of Assam Rifles, terrain imperatives and various security and administrative challenges in Nagaland and also visited and stayed at various company operating bases deployed along the Indo-Myanmar border.
The orientation program culminated on Thursday in Kohima, where Maj Gen Pradeep Nair, YSM along with officers of HQ IGAR (N) recieved and interacted with them. The general officer encouraged the future administrators to bring about an administration that runs on reliability and efficiency and wished them the best in their future endeavours.
