A national seminar on “Writing Quality Research Papers: Preparation, Presentation and Production” was held at Fazl Ali College (FAC) Mokokchung on February 22.
A press release from Fazl Ali College Mokokchung stated that three resource persons were invited to deliver talks. Department of Sociology & chair professor, Kedilezou Kikhi and chair Tezpur University Assam, Dr. Ambedkar deliberated on the topic “Preparation and Presentation of Research Papers.” Dr. D.R. Gautam, and Dr. Ambedkar discussed “Open Access: How, Where and What?”
Chief editor Heritage Publishing House, Dimapur, Dr. Lanusangla Tzudir, presented a talk on “Identifying Priority Areas and Publishing”.
The seminar covered the following sub-themes: Identifying priority area of research; the importance and technique of literature review; the scope of research; research objective and hypothesis; various research methods; presentation of findings; the issue of plagiarism; peer reviewing and scholarly journals; open access journals; publishing research findings.
Altogether 80 participants attended the seminar. It concluded with a sum-up by content editor seminar committee, HoD and associate professor department of English FAC, Dr. Watimongla Pongener.
