
Phek Government College (PGC) was assessed and accredited with a ‘B’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore, as per the latest framework.
In a press release, PGC through its media cell stated that the NAAC peer team consisted of professor, T. Tirupathi Rao, former vice chancellor of Osmania University, Hyderabad; professor, SMK Qadri, Jamia Millia University, New Delhi; and principal of St. Joseph’s College, Darjeeling, Dr. Donatus Kujur. The team cited the strong support network extended by the community and district administration as one of the major strengths of the college and noted its visionary leadership and dedicated staff. The institution is the first to be assessed by NAAC in a remote area of Nagaland.
The college has thanked all those involved in contributing in varied ways towards the development of the college.
