With an objective to acquaint students to native history and its significance, the department of History, Salt Christian College (SCC) Dimapur organized a study tour to the Dimasa Kachari Ruins, on March 6.
A press release from SCC Dimapur stated that teacher guides briefed the students on the history of the Dimasa Kachari civilization which dates back to the 10th century. The students expressed concern over the dilapidated condition of the monuments which has long been neglected by the people and government.
The team comprised of 6th semester students led by the HoD and faculty members.
