Taking serious note of security breach, where unauthorized drones/unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been operational over and around Dimapur airport, Dimapur Police has banned such operation around the airport area. In a communiqué, Commissioner of Police (CP), Dimapur said operating drones/UAVs may also jeopardize flight safety. In this regard, CP has warned of punitive action against those violators.
