Mini-truck crashes into road-divider in Dimapur

A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) mini-truck, bearing registration number AS01JC-4830, smashed into a road divider at Riverbelt Colony,  near SSI Unit, Dimapur in the wee hours of April 17 at around 3 to 4 am.

According to a source in the Traffic Police department, the truck belongs to the 69th CRPF Battalion and it was on its way to Imphal from Transit Camp Dimapur.

Of the seven or eight CRPF personnel seated in the truck, the driver and another jawan — D/C Rajesh Chandran and constable Shivlal – were admitted to Nikos Hospital with severe injuries. 

The source added that inquiry is on to ascertain the cause of the accident.
