A special four-day handloom expo by the Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd got underway on May 14 at Mokokchung at the Multipurpose Hall, Imkongmeren Sports Complex.
The expo sponsored by the office of the development commissioner handlooms, Ministry of Textiles, government of India, New Delhi was inaugurated by SDO (C) Mokokchung, Thungchanbemo Tungoe.
50 participants from Nagaland and from other north eastern states are partaking in the expo.
