NSCN (I-M) condolence

NSCN (I-M) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Lumba Raising from Peh village (Wung Tangkhul Region), Executive Member, Steering Committee, NSCN on May 17, after a prolonged illness.

In a condolence note through MIP, NSCN (I-M) said late Lumba has been undergoing treatment for cancer for quite some period, and passed away peacefully at Referral Hospital, Dimapur. 
He was in the national service for thirty years and has served in different capacities ever since he joined NSCN in 1988. 
He was one person, who helped in setting up the secretariat, GPRN in Council Headquarters (CHQ), Hebron. He was also the first Principal Secretary, GPRN and served as Auditor General (AG), Chaplee Secretary, Kilo Secretary, Keya Secretary, Secretary of Art, Culture & Tourism (ACT) and Kilonser of Mines & Minerals. 
NSCN (I-M) expressed regret that he left the world without seeing the fruition of Naga political struggle which he was a part of. 
For the service rendered for the Naga nation, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga political struggle, the condolence note stated. Further, NSCN (I-M) prayed that the Almighty bestow comfort and strength to the bereaved family members to withstand the sorrow.
