Immanuel College, Dimapur conducted orientation programme for the newly admitted students of classes 11 (Arts) and Science and BA and B.Sc first semester on May 21 at the college auditorium.
A press release from Immanuel College media cell convenor, Akutu Poireng stated that dean of students, Loli Athisii briefed the students on the rules and regulations of the college and speech on behalf of the lecturers was delivered by Head of Department History, Temjenzungla Aier.
The college also informed the students that the regular classes for 11 Arts & Science and BA and B.Sc first semester will commence from May 22.
The programme was chaired by assistant professor department of Botany, Temsutola, welcome address by principal, Th. Sharatchandra Singh, exhortation by chairman governing body, Dr. Loso Chalai and the programme concluded with benediction by counsellor, Dr. Meyila.
